Devotion to The Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Virgin Mary - Prayer
The Holy Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate
Heart of Virgin Mary!
Today, I (name and surname) devote myself to your Hearts. Hereby I
renew my baptismal devotion to God. I renounce the evil spirit, the selfish
world, the sin, and my own self.
I promise, that I shall obey the ten commandments and the commandment, Jesus
has given us: to love God and our neighbours, in order to strengthen the
unity of Christ's body, the Church.
I shall willingly pray the rosary personally, with my family, and with my
community, and fulfilling
the devotions of the first Fridays and first Saturdays I want to give
satisfaction to your Hearts for my own sins and the sins of the whole
humanity.
Pray, help us to take the Gospel into our hearts and live it with faith,
hope and love. In this way Jesus Christ by his Cross and Resurrection will
become for us the Way, the Truth and the Life.
You, holy Mary, Mother of unity, lead us safely to your Son. Let the
heavenly bread be our nourishment, so that we shall be open for life and
thus we shall be able to defeat the culture of death and the modern idols.
Full of confidence we recourse to the shelter of your loving Hearts. Protect
us from all dangers and when we end this terrestrial pilgrimage, lead us
safely into the eternal homeland Amen.
